Oil Storage Regulations

Oil Storage Regulations were introduced to help reduce oil spillage and pollution caused by poor storage of oil in above ground tank installations. The regulations apply in both domestic and commercials circumstances and if not followed, can result in prosecution if any oil leaks onto the surrounding ground or into watercourses.

The regulations cover all oil types, including biodegradable oil and excluding waste mineral oil.
